Rottie Rehab is a small rescue centre based in Wiltshire which rescues, rehabilitates & rehomes Rottweilers that are mistreated or just unwanted all around the country.
The founder has many years of experience owning & training Rottweilers & she ensures the rescues that come to us live in a house as part of the family & with other dogs, where possible, so they can be assessed properly in the same environment in which they are going to be rehomed.
We are very thorough with our rehoming process from the time you meet your potential new dog right through to the end of their days with you we offer ongoing support & training. We also insist that if the partnership is not successful, be it a day later or ten years later, that the dog comes back to us so that we know where he is at all times & never lose track of our four legged friends. The welfare of all our dogs is paramount.
This beautiful yet misunderstood breed is like no other. Happy to be an only dog in a household or as part of a pack, he is one of the most intelligent breeds known to man. These dogs usually form a bond with one individual creating a most loyal servant until his dying day.
As with any rescue dog, they all come with their issues & as with us humans some have more than others. However, the amount of satisfaction, happiness & unconditional love they give us means you can forgive them for not being completely perfect!
Mutual respect is key & although yours will have to be instant, for your dog, you will only gain respect from a Rottie when you have earned it.
You never truely own a Rottie; you are merely priviliged enough to be in their company while they are with you!
